Chrome vs Firefox vs Internet Explorer.

I used to be an avid Firefox fan and in many ways I still am, whenever it comes to website design anyway. The widgets/add-ons available from Firefox make it virtually indispensable to most web-designers, but do I use Firefox for browsing? Not on your nelly.
Since the birth of Chrome, I’ve been hooked. The speed in which the browser runs is just bliss, especially when you’ve been using IE for sometime, even Firefox is getting slower in it’s old age. I was helping out some non-techie friends the other day who were having a bit of trouble with their XP system, the computer wasn’t running particularly poorly but IE would take 50 seconds to a minute to open. My solution? download Chrome, installed in less than 4 minutes, the owners were pretty skeptical about the whole thing really, not believing it was a browser issue but a computer issue.
They were proved a tad wrong, within seconds of hitting the shortcut the browser is open and ready to rock and roll. The looks on their faces were priceless, it really goes to show you what a difference a bit of knowledge in the browser market makes to your daily life.
Especially now with Themes and Gadgets available and backed with the power of Google who let’s face it, rarely deliver a poor product. The timing couldn’t be better to switch to Chrome and start living in the fast lane.
Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
